Cycling is one of the best decisions you can make for great fitness and health. I will give you a few reasons why this is true.
One reason is regular exercise can help curb feeling of anxiety and stress. Even if you are miserable, cycling will raise your spirit and help stabilize your mind state. Another reason is that it will make your immune cells more active and better equipped to fight infection. These cells appear to work slower in people who don’t exercise then in those that do. It also reduced the signs of aging. That is why cycling is one of the best things you can do to stay strong physically and mentally.
If you can’t ride to collect these benefits you should walk, run, swim or do any activity that is feasible in your situation. As for me I will hop on my bike and ride in to the sunset.
